Mount Sinai Health System department of surgery is seeking a board Certified/board eligible surgeon to join as faculty on the Brooklyn Campus. Our preferred candidate will have completed specialty training in minimally invasive, bariatric and/or robotic surgery. Operative privileges in Mount Sinai Brooklyn will apply across the entire Mount Sinai Health System.
Mount Sinai Brooklyn is a 212-bed acute-care community hospital. We are located in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. We have gone through numerous renovations and upgrades over the past decade to expand our scope of services most recently becoming part of the Mount Sinai Health System. The hospital enjoys an excellent reputation in such specialties as cardiac care, geriatric care, gastroenterology, general surgery, and bariatrics and boasts a nationally accredited cancer center.
There is opportunity to build a practice across the breadth of general surgery with a focus on minimally invasive, bariatric and/or robotic surgery. There is ready access to multiple Xi dual console surgical robots. Mount Sinai Brooklyn has a small hospital feel with the support and resources of a world renowned health system. We offer independence in developing your practice and work-life balance yet with the support and availability of senior, highly experienced MIS and robotic surgeons
Mount Sinai Brooklyn is a surgical resident training site and in addition has a full complement of surgical house officers and PA’s.
